How to Turn Reading into Action
ActionGrowth
Reading feels productive, but growth happens when an idea changes behavior. Action is what turns insight into value.
At the end of a chapter, ask one question. What is one small action this idea suggests? Keep the action tiny enough to do today.
Do not try to use ten ideas at once. Pick one idea and test it for a week. A small experiment teaches more than a long list of intentions.
Keep a note called try next. Whenever a useful idea appears, add it there. This turns reading into a source of practical experiments.
Books become part of your life when they enter your calendar, your habits, or your conversations. That is the bridge from reading to action.
