The purpose of this group is to discuss problems, personal struggles, hardships and difficulties we face in every day life. Users are encouraged to offer solutions, give advice, respond positively and have empathy with the issues. This platform should help to relieve stress, give comfort and show solidarity with those who are affected in some way. We ask users NOT to pass judgement, question the circumstances or feel anger and resentment towards both the issues concerned or the people involved. If any user feels they have something to offer, we are more than happy for your input, but there is no compulsion to respond.
Stress in Lockdown
On a personal level. I have the love and affection of a 'support bubble', a small circle of family and friends that I can rely on to help me through difficult circumstances, financial issues, social problems and isolation.
Second, I have my faith; my belief in God and the role religion plays in every day life. I know that whatever obstacles and adversities may appear, my Creator believes in me, loves me and will never abandon me.
Finally, self confidence and self esteem. My personal evaluation about my current circumstances and future perspectives on what I have to give to the world both now and in the present. If I feel good, positive, and even if I may add, excited about my skills, abilities and special expertise in my selected profession. Furthermore, I also have a 'vision', a 'plan of achievements' of what I will accomplish by certain periods in the future. By this I mean I know where I will be in five and ten years time, what I will have achieved. I amend and adjust as I go along.
Next I have my occupational pursuits. This I see as different from my profession and I continue to build on this. My occupation is where I grow in income potential, speciality and ability to invest as a productive worker. My profession is what I have chosen to do and include my interests and what I will achieve with it , but not as something I rely on for income.
In respect to my occupation, what makes life easier is the understanding, I have responsibilities and roles that I must fulfil for others to complete their own. I am an online member of a sales firm and my input is what customers will see when they log on to the company website. I am a proof reader and editor of the product features already on site and I am the creator of the blurbs or text descriptions of the same items. At present the official project is to concentrate on 'Mothers Day' gifts. I work from home and the enjoyment of your own home as a professional site is an added bonus. I am able to spend quality time with my immediate family and this also means less commuter distance to work, fewer transport bills and my own hours.
Last, I have the forum and all of the members here. The discussions, debates, polls, articles and news, even the disagreements. I am grateful for all that I have and what I can do for others.
I keep myself busy and see some forms of stress as healthy; it can help you grow, make you stronger, ad to your potential and give you hope. The other forms of stress I deal with as obstacles I have the ability to overcome and I give myself targets and aims of 'how and when'. 'How' each of them will be dealt with and 'when'.

I suppose then that the first step to fight off stress is positive attitude. I too have similar coping mechanisms as you in the form of a loving family and friends. I agree that some stress is healthy as it keeps you alert and focussed on your goals.

Yes they are sir, very much
Lockdown was stressful but we can't deny that within that short period of time nature got some relief too. Even big cities had pure oxygen that time and many animals and birds were moving freely. In todays modern age it's rare to have everything pure.
