Hi, We have already started working on new plans. We are not sure if it will work or not but we should try at least.

Now we will discuss about our next move.

  1. We will hide sections except few sections which are necessary.
  2. Introduce groups as a main interest of our forum because we need something different from ucf.
  3. Groups can be created by users and customizable.
  4. We will introduce a short group feed or focused group.
  5. List of top 10 or top 20 groups on home page.
  6. Monthly karma award and medals sometimes for most popular threads, most rated threads, most discussed threads and best members etc.
  7. Post with monthly and yearly best of threads of craxme. No matter if it will be link or text post.
  8. Enabling System Karma rating for users. Because karma will represent users contribution and reputation.
  9. Admins, mods of most popular groups will get award.
  10. A separate room for all group admins and mods with permission to give suggestions and discuss issues with site admins,super mods, mods.

About empowerment for users, so that they have the option to grant karma... It is necesary that there is a maximum limit on the number of karma units that the user can grant, that is, for example, establish a cap of 3 karmas per day. Also this option should be available only for users with a higher level, for example, from the user level Conqueror or Lord, that will motivate users to contribute more to reach that level of user and thus be able to access the option to grant karma. :)

About empowerment for users, so that they have the optio ... I already have that in mind. A user can't rate more than 1 karma to any post. Daily limit of total karma can be discussed. Also newbies will not be able to create groups. Also any user can't delete groups by himself.

Yes the idea of groups is nice. Here is my argument.

  1. Groups is nice, i think we should start of with some members and make groups for sections. like android group for Android section. This way every group will have a target and we will also able to keep sections and groups running.

  2. I think content should be balanced between sections and groups equally cause threads posted in sections can be viewed by everyone while threads posted by groups can only be viewed by group members. How can we promote groups if useful threads can only be viewed by group members? Unless we can view group threads with out joining them.

3.I think admins and mods should be part of groups only in starting stages of implementing it cause if it goes well then many groups will come in to existence. We cannot be part of every group and the groups which doesn't have admins or mods will think it's unfair. Even we will also be biased towards the groups we are in.

  1. Yes users should be able to rate karma. But there should be a limit just like @Pedro_P bro said.

  2. A separate room for group admins to discuss issues with admins and mods is good but this option should not be available to every group cause then any one can create group and join the room. I think For every thread posted in the room a notice should be send to all admins and mods about it. Is it possible?

If this idea will not work then everything will be back to normal. Then for other things groups will be there. If groups will be created will correct permission then group's contents can be viewed without joining. If users like then they can join. We have many plans like best of threads for each month within a section to promote best sections and threads.

Actually when members will get interest they will join groups they want and it will continue automatically. But before that we need to do the actual works.

Also few new rooms will be added which will be useful and necessary for groups.

Actually other sections will be created as groups by us for now according to need and activity of users. I hope then users will participate,create and manage well also if we can do everything correctly. Also few sections will be added as a redirection method.

Don't count hidden sections and admin room.
