Unique story

I don't know anything about Indian films, but among English language films, I have many favourites.

In book to movie thrillers, I like "Day of the Jackal" with Edward Fox, I think it's excellently taken and follows the book fairly closely, which many book conversions don't always do. For the same reason, I like the Dan Brown movies - Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. Inferno strayed a little from the book and I wasn't happy.

In War films I like the Alistair Maclean classics Guns of Navarone and Where Eagles Dare. I like the Dirty Dozen, Battle of Britain, The Longest Day ... I could add quite a few more!

Among Westerns, I like the John Wayne classics Rio Bravo, El Dorado, the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns, The Magnificent Seven and a few more.

Under comedy, "It's a mad, mad, mad world" takes the podium, but I also like Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, Daring Young Men in their Jaunty Jalopies, The Gods Must be Crazy, Crocodile Dundee ... not to mention the old classics Laurel & Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, Terence Hill & Bud Spencer ... the list is endless.

Sorry for rambling on, but I have too many favourites! There are other genres, and most favs in the above genres, but I'll save that for another post.

One of the old movie which I like to read is 'Dosti'.
