The land of hidden men

"The Land of Hidden Men" by Edgar Rice Burroughs is a novel written in the early 20th century. This adventurous tale follows Gordon King, a young American and medical graduate, who ventures alone into the impenetrable jungles of Cambodia in search of ancient ruins.
