It Contains The Portion To Be Covered At Undergraduate Level And Comprises A Two Semester Course For Graduate (Physics) Students. End Of Almost Each Chapter Contains A Problem Set. Most Of The Problems In The Set Are Solved So That Students Can Have An In Depth Knowledge Of The Subject. It Is Strictly In Accordance With The Author'S Conception That No One Can Learn A Subject Without Solving Problems. To Understand The Topics Covered In This Book, Consultation Of No Other Book On Quantum Mechanics Is Necessary. Of Course A Thorough Knowledge Of Vectors And Special Functions Is Assumed. Though A Large Number Of Books Are Available In The Subject, None Of Them Can Be Accepted As A Single Textbook.
