About this book

The topic of the book is very special. This is about the managerial qualities of the UBER drivers of India. The author Prof. Suvasish Mukhopadhyay is a regular rider of UBER and in the last two-three years he came in contact with thousands of UBER drivers in different cities of India viz: Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad and Nashik. The author deeply studied all the drivers who came in contact with him and selected one hundred and twenty two out of them. This book talks of the pleasure and pain, laughter and tears, struggle and pathos of the Indian UBER drivers. Most of them are semi literate and many of them are even school dropout, still due to continuous and unceasing struggle all these drivers learnt with time how to manage a critical situation. Qualified man reads more books, but these poor drivers read so many human beings and out of that reading they have enriched their experience. It is the strong feeling of the author that the UBER drivers are the best managers of the world and for leaning the art of Management there is no need to visit a B- School.
